State Volleyball was on November 1 and 2, at Utah Valley University. The Lady Tigers did so well and made it to the championship against the Panguitch Bobcats! The last time the Lady Tigers played in the championship was back in 2001. The Tigers ended up placing second in the state! The girls worked hard, had a lot of energy, and gave everything they had.

The first game was against the  Escalante Moquis, and the girls beat them in three sets. The first set was 25-19, and the second set was 25-9; the third set was 25-15! Their next game was against the Monument Valley Cougars, and Milford beat them in three sets also. The first set was 25-12; the second set was 25-17, and the third set was 25-18! This win sent the Lady Tigers to the Semifinals the next day.

For the semis, they battled against the ICHS Lions. The Tigers played amazing and beat them in three sets! The first set was 25-15. The second set was very close with a score of 29-27, and the third set was 25-21! Finally, the Lady Tigers got to the State Championship against the Panguitch Bobcats. They fell short and lost in three, but the Tigers had a great tournament.

In addition, Milford had three members named to the Academic All-State Team: Akaydeh L., Kinsey W., and Aliza W. Congrats! Overall, it was an eventful weekend for the team and many other people. The girls did an amazing job, and we are so proud of each and every one of them!
